The AMSOIL Program

The Amsoil Program affords you the opportunity to operate your own business on either a part-time or full-time basis. When you become an Amsoil Independent Dealer, you will sell Synthetic Motor Oil and Lubricant Products directly to your customers, which bypasses the customary mark-up of the retail market. Your customers can either call you or go to the on-line store on your website and place an order for product.

All products are manufactured at the Amsoil Corporation Center in Superior, Wisconsin, then shipped to regional distribution centers where they are stored until a customer's order is received. Once your customer places an order for synthetic oil, the product is directly dropped shipped to them. Unlike many other dealership programs, when you are an Amsoil Dealer, there are no territory restrictions. Your customers can be local, statewide or national — it is all up to your choosing.

Besides working with personal customer accounts, you also have the availability to establish retail and commercial accounts for synthetic oil, and cultivate catalog and preferred customers. At AMSOIL, you are never limited in the type of accounts you would like handle. Once you sign up your accounts, they will be registered directly with AMSOIL.

If you decide to work with retail accounts, you will be working with retail outlets such as auto parts stores, auto service centers, and lube shops which need a variety of synthetic oil products. Retail outlets also include motorcycle dealerships and hardware stores. Your retail accounts will stock AMSOIL products to sell to their customers or they will use AMSOIL products as part of the service they provide such as synthetic oil changes.

As an AMSOIL Dealer you can also sign up and work with commercial accounts. Commercial accounts involve businesses that use AMSOIL products for their vehicles, equipment or machinery but are not in the business of selling AMSOIL Products to their customers.

Once you have registered either a retail or commercial account, AMSOIL takes all the paperwork out of your hands and will handle taking the order, shipping of product, billing and payment collection. Your monthly commissioned earnings for synthetic oil products will be sent directly to you from AMSOIL.

You can also sell AMSOIL products through the AMSOIL Catalog Program. All you need to do is purchase the retail catalogs directly from AMSOIL and then distribute them to all your potential customers of synthetic oil products. When these customers place an order, AMSOIL will handle the order, invoicing, shipping, and collect payment. You will receive your monthly earnings and commission credits for the sale of the products.

AMSOIL's Preferred Customer Program is for customers who are interested in buying synthetic oil products at the same price as an AMSOIL dealer would pay but are not necessarily interested in becoming an AMSOIL dealer. Savings for a preferred customer can be anywhere from $20 to $100. Preferred Customers will sign up with you for either a 6-month or 12-month membership. Your preferred customers can upgrade to dealer status at a later date if they so choose.

Because AMSOIL understands that starting a business can be costly, your minimal start-up cost can be less than $50 depending on the sales and compensation program you select. You can sign up for a 6-month trial dealership in synthetic oil products, which will cost you as little as $15 or for a one-year dealership for the price of $30. With both programs you will receive company literature and materials as well as a monthly subscription to the AMSOIL Action News Magazine to keep you informed with features about synthetic oil product testing and new synthetic oil products.

As an Independent AMSOIL Dealer, you are not required to invest in inventory, saving you time and money. The AMSOIL Program also eliminates the expense of hiring employees. Everything you need to begin and build your synthetic oil business is available for you once you sign up to become a dealer. Because AMSOIL wants you to succeed, you will be provided with an excellent support system to help build up your business including:

  • Brochures to pass out to potential and longstanding customers
  • Informational tapes to help you develop your business
  • Regular Meetings with your dealer group
  • Technical Services to aide and assist you
